Please note: Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we are no longer scheduling any group visits for the remainder of the spring semester. Please consider scheduling a visit in the 2020-21 school year instead.

Lewis University welcomes chaperoned High School Groups to visit our campus. The information presented below is a guide for chaperones and tour organizers.

    Advanced scheduling
Please select your visit date through the calendar below. Group visits are only available Monday or Wednesday. We will do our best to accommodate your selected date based on campus events and staffing. Most visits last between two and three hours.

Book your group visit by selecting one of the green dates in the calendar below. Please note that group visit appointments are not available on weekends or during the months May through July. No exceptions will be made.
    Visit Includes:
    • Admissions presentation - A presentation about the university and time for general questions.
    • Walking Campus tour- A current Lewis University student will lead the group on a tour of campus. Tours are conducted regardless of the weather.
Special requests- Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate special visit requests, including meals (groups may purchase lunch in Charlie’s Place); overnight accommodations; or transportation to and from campus.

Cancellation- If you have to cancel your visit, kindly provide at least three days’ notice by contacting the Admissions Office at (815) 836-5250 or admissions@lewisu.edu. Scheduled groups that do not provide notice may be limited in future campus visits.

Late arrival- Will result in a modification of your tour and/or presentation. If you anticipate being late, please call the admissions office as soon as possible to determine how we may be able to best accommodate your group.

Chaperones- We require groups to provide one adult chaperone for every 15 students coming to campus. Chaperones are responsible for maintaining the appropriate behavior of the students they are bringing to campus. Please ensure that your group shows respect for the university, students, faculty, and staff. Disruptive groups will be asked to leave campus early.
