HIGH SCHOOL GROUP VISITS

    Lewis University welcomes chaperoned High School Groups, Juniors and Seniors preferred, to visit our campus. The information presented below is a guide for chaperones and tour organizers. 

    Advanced Scheduling
    Please book your group visit by selecting one of the green dates in the calendar below. Group visits are only available on select Wednesdays and will need to be scheduled 2 weeks in advance.

    We will do our best to accommodate your selected date based on campus events and staffing. Most visits last approximately two hours. (Student Registration Limit - 30)
     
    Visit Details:
    10:15 a.m. - Please arrive on campus
    10:30 a.m. - Admission presentation and Q&A
    11:00 a.m. - Campus Tour, a current Lewis University student will lead the group on a walking tour of campus. Tours are conducted regardless of the weather, so please be sure your group is appropriately prepared.
    12:00 p.m. - Visit Concludes  
    **meals are not provided**

    Special Requests
    Unfortunately, the Office of Admission is unable to accommodate special visit requests. Meals on campus and transportation to and from campus are not provided. If your group would like to reserve space to enjoy lunch on campus, please make sure to contact Max Foster at mfoster1@lewisu.edu.

    If your group is coming from out-of-state, please make sure to contact Max Foster at mfoster1@lewisu.edu for hotel accommodation.

    Chaperones
    All groups of 15 or more students need a minimum of 2 chaperones. Chaperones are responsible for maintaining appropriate behavior of their students. Please ensure that your group shows respect for the university, students, faculty, and staff. Disruptive groups or individual students may be asked to leave campus early, and/or jeopardize the opportunity for future campus visits.

    Cancellation
    If you need to cancel your visit, please notify the Office of Admissions at (815) 836-5250 or admissions@lewisu.edu, or Max Foster at mfoster1@lewisu.edu or (815) 836-5658 no later than the day of your visit. Scheduled groups that do not provide notice may be limited in future campus visit opportunities.

    Late Arrival
    If you anticipate being late, please call the Office of Admission as soon as possible to determine how we may be able to best accommodate your group. Late arrivals may require us to modify your tour and/or presentation time.
