Lewis University welcomes chaperoned High School Groups (Juniors or Seniors) to visit our campus. The information presented below is a guide for chaperones and tour organizers. Advanced Scheduling Please book your group visit by selecting one of the green dates in the calendar below. Group visits are only available on select Mondays or Thursdays. No exceptions will be made. We will do our best to accommodate your selected date based on campus events and staffing. Most visits last approximately two hours. (Student Registration Limit - 30) Visit Includes:
Chaperones All groups must provide one adult chaperone for every 15 students coming to campus. Chaperones are responsible for maintaining the appropriate behavior of their students. Please ensure that your group shows respect for the university, students, faculty, and staff. Disruptive groups or individual students may be asked to leave campus early, and/or jeopardize the opportunity for future campus visits. Special Requests Unfortunately, the Office of Admission is unable to accommodate special visit requests, including meals, overnight accommodations, or transportation to and from campus. If your group would like to eat on campus, you can make arrangements directly with our food service company. Cancellation If you need to cancel your visit, please provide at least three days’ notice by contacting the Office of Admissions at (815) 836-5250 or admissions@lewisu.edu. Scheduled groups that do not provide notice may be limited in future campus visit opportunities. Late Arrival If you anticipate being late, please call the Office of Admission as soon as possible to determine how we may be able to best accommodate your group. Late arrivals may require us to modify your tour and/or presentation time. |
